Over the years we have put up several billboards around Las Vegas. Thanks to the internet, they have been seen by people all over the world. Below is an archive of billboards we’ve put up over the years.
Bacon Prophet John wanted to do something that would leave an impact and get people talking. He did his first billboard in 2014 and the response was overwhelming. Here is a listing of the early billboards he did in Las Vegas.
The United Church of Bacon posted a holiday billboard in December 2015 which stated “Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah from 13,000+ Atheists & Skeptics at United Church of Bacon”.
This billboard celebrated the LGBTQ community when gay marriage was legalized in 2015.
This billboard featured a quote by Thomas Paine to fight discrimination against atheists. The quote states, “Infidelity is saying you believe something when you don’t.”
One of the first billboards was put up in April 2015. The billboard featured the UCB logo and featured the phrase “bacon is our god because bacon is real”. The billboard was displayed in 4 different locations around Las Vegas, Nevada. The timing of this billboard coincided with the UCB protest of Wells Fargo over religious discrimination.
The first billboard run by the United Church of Bacon was part of a rotating digital billboard along the 215 freeway in Las Vegas, NV. It displayed 2 quotes in 8 second rotating displays.
In our first billboard in 3 years, we wished the people of the Las Vegas strip a happy holiday season in 2018.
We took over a billboard that condemned lust and replaced it with a message of our own.
This billboard wished onlookers a happy New Year for 2019.
Our first billboard of the pandemic was launched in Birmingham, Alabama! We spread the word of Baconism to the American South!
Our second billboard in Birmingham, AL was a nod to another issue.
Our next southern billboard was launched in Memphis, Tennessee!

In December 2022, we wished the people of Las Vegas a Happy Festivus with 2 digital billboards at Las Vegas Blvd and Sahara Ave.
